Finally meeting Jim

Jim and I were at opposite ends of the children of the McArthur siblings. He being the oldest and me being the youngest. I never thought I'd get a chance to meet him as adults (I'm sure I saw him when I was just a baby, of course, before he moved to NZ and my parents brought me to the U.S.), but then in 2008, he said he'd be visiting Canada and the U.S.and would like to get together. I picked him up at Newark airport, and he stayed with us for three days, leaving us with the terrific photos from the family geneology he had compiled and taking with him ones that we could provide. It was a wonderful surprise, and he was full of great stories.
